The ChatGPT app for Android is now available in India. Previously, the software was exclusively accessible to iPhone users. All those who are using Android 6.0 and above may now download ChatGPT for free via the Google’s Play app store. Similar to its web-based variant, users may ask the AI-powered bot queries regarding anything and get a conversational response. Log in using the registered ID after downloading the app. If you’re new to ChatGPT, you may create an account using your Apple or Google ID.
How well does it work?
The program has a very simple user interface. ChatGPT, unlike most other programs, doesn’t come with a main page where users generally pick options to begin chatting. Instead, it offers a blank screen where users may begin entering their searches. The response will show just above the chatbox.
More options are available by clicking on the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) in the upper right. Users may check their conversation history here. The ChatGPT software allows users to delete or rename previous chats. The app also supports voice input.
Likewise, the Settings option has a slew of important options. You may activate or disable conversation history by selecting “data control” from the Settings menu. You may also change the color palette, haptic feedback, and major language.
However, it does not yet include the ability to become a member of ChatGPT Plus, which is based on OpenAI’s new-generation GPT-4 LLM (large language model). Users can also upload photos using GPT-4. Users on iOS, on the other hand, are able to subscribe to ChatGPT Plus for Rs 1,999 per month.
The ChatGPT app does not provide an easy way to deactivate your account.
