OpenAI ChatGPT has updated with additional functionalities to their popular chatbot, ChatGPT which is also available android and iOS. With the additional functionality, the chatbot may now provide recommended follow-up prompts at the bottom of its replies. The corporation introduced the fresh capabilities in a message on its own official Twitter account. 

In a tweet, OpenAI stated that it is releasing a slew of minor changes to enhance the ChatGPT experience. According to the corporation, these functionalities will be available and ChatGPT updated within a week’s time. Prompt examples, recommended responses, GPT-4 by default, upload multiple files at once, stay signed in, and keyboard shortcuts are among the new features. 

Users are able to view examples of prompts that will assist them structure their search queries better using the prompt examples feature. This will take over the empty page and encourage people to get started. Users will be able to explore further with a single click thanks to the suggested replies function. ChatGPT now provides appropriate ways to carry on discussions using this feature. 

Another noteworthy characteristic is that GPT-4 is selected as the default. Previously, ChatGPT provided GPT-3.5 as the default for Plus members, and they had to switch to GPT-4 in order to use it. GPT-4 is now used by default with the most recent release. “When starting a new chat as a Plus user, ChatGPT will remember your previously selected model — no more defaulting back to GPT-3.5,” according to OpenAI.

Furthermore, users will be able to take full use of ChatGPT because the chatbot will enable them to upload many files. ChatGPT will now analyse data from different files and generate insights. It should be noted, however, that this capability will be available to all Plus members with the Code Interpreter beta

According to OpenAI, the new upgrade will also allow users to stay signed in for extended periods of time. Users will no longer have to log into the accounts once every two weeks, according to the corporation. “When you do need to log in, you’ll be greeted with a much more welcoming page,” the business explained.

Furthermore, users may now access ChatGPT functionalities more quickly and efficiently. To copy code blocks, the business has developed shortcuts such as Ctrl + Shift + C. Users must use CTRL + / on their computer keyboards to access the full set of shortcuts. For Indian consumers, the ChatGPT Plus membership costs Rs 1,999.
