Amazon teaser shows that the JioBook laptop will be available in India on July 31

In India, Reliance Jio is preparing to debut a new JioBook laptop. Amazon has released a teaser from the site, revealing that the laptop will be available on July 31. This might be a revamped version of the JioBook, which the business released in October of last year, or Reliance may be preparing to offer the older model through Amazon as well. Only Reliance Digital outlets carried the 2022 JioBook laptop. As of now, there is little clarification, as Amazon just states that the “all-new JioBook” will be available by the end of this month, and the online marketplace has also disclosed some of the device’s important features. Here are the specifics.

According to the Amazon teaser, the upcoming JioBook laptop will feature the same design as the one introduced by the firm in October of last year. It is blue in color and has a small form factor. According to the teaser, the laptop is “built for all ages productivity, entertainment, and play.” It boasts 4G connection and an octa-core CPU, which the manufacturer claims can handle high-definition video streaming, multitasking across apps, diverse software, and more.

The teaser also promises that the next Jio laptop is exceptionally lightweight, weighing around 990 grams. According to Amazon, it can provide consumers with a full-day battery. The remaining information are still unclear and will most likely be published on the 31st of July.

In a nutshell, the 2022 JioBook was designed for those on a tight budget who desire a laptop for basic tasks like browsing, education, and so on. The JioBook, which was released in October, boasts an 11.6-inch HD screen. This one includes large bezels and a front-facing 2-megapixel camera for video chats. It is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC with an Adreno 610 GPU. Since it only has 2GB of RAM, multitasking will be difficult. It comes with 32GB eMMC storage that can be expanded up to 128GB. JioOS, which the firm says is properly optimized for seamless operation, powers the Jio laptop. The laptop even features a JioStore, which allows users to download any other third-party program.

Under the hood is a 5,000mAh battery that Reliance Jio says may provide up to 8 hours of lasting power on a single charge. For heat emission, it is also passive cooling help. A 3.5mm audio connector, Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI micro, Wi-Fi, and other connectivity options are available. Surprisingly, the smartphone includes an inbuilt Jio SIM card, allowing users to set up Jio 4G LTE access. This Jio notebook was introduced in India for less than Rs 20,000.
