Users get a share of Twitter Monetization sharing!

Users get a share of Twitter's ad earnings! Many people already got it

Selected users on Twitter are now receiving ad income sharing. It implies that people are compensated to tweet. To get payment, users or professional creators must enroll in the “Ads Revenue Sharing” and “Creator Subscriptions” programs. According to Twitter, Creator Ads Revenue Sharing will be accessible in all nations where Stripe offers payments. Users in India cannot now be paid to tweet, while the social media company may later think about changing the rule. Another tweet claims that Mr. Beast, a well-known YouTuber (James Donaldson), received $25,000 (about Rs. 21 lakh) from Twitter as a share of the company’s ad-sharing earnings. Many consumers have got compensation around Rs 5 lakh.

Twitter explained in a blog post that the Ads Revenue Sharing scheme will be made available to an “initial group” of users who will be asked to accept payment. Users must be enrolled to Twitter Blue or Verified Organizations in order to join up for the program. Additionally, they must have posted at least five million times in each of the previous three months. According to Twitter, users or creators must meet the platform’s Creator Monetization Standards, which include criteria including age, country, and activity.

They claim in a blog post that it will soon establish a gateway or page for the ad revenue sharing application process. Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, initially disclosed the experiment in February.

People receiving sharing now praising twitter

As part of the Creator Ads Revenue Sharing scheme, a number of creators have begun writing about the money that Twitter gives to them. A user (RaptalkSK) earned $2,236 (about Rs. 1.8 lakh) from the Musk-owned firm, according to Titter Daily, a well-liked Twitter website that follows news about the company. He also tweeted about the money coming via Twitter. “Officially quit my job,” he says. I’m giving my all for creating tweets, so call me stupid all you want, however, I’m going to make my dreams come true.

A different user named “levelsio” obtained $3,899 (about Rs 3.1 lakh). According to his statement, the remuneration for five months of tweeting was $3,899, which equates to around 250,000,000 impressions or a CPM of $0.01.

It’s interesting to note that Elon Musk qualifies for the ad income sharing scheme as well because his profile has been validated and meets all the other requirements. Musk said that he donated his part to “the creator payout pool” in response to a user’s query about his expected earnings.

The launch’s timing is especially intriguing because Twitter is under fire from Threads by Meta. Twitter will keep its devoted artists and users thanks to the most recent initiative. At this time, Meta does not have any ad income sharing programs. Also read, Google makes generative AI available for taking notes: Why to try NotebookLM and How?
