Premium members of X, earlier Twitter, can finally hide their blue tick.

X Blue Hide Options

Premium Blue users will soon be able to hide their verified ticks according to a new feature being rolled out by Elon Musk-owned X, formerly Twitter. The networking site is effectively allowing subscribers to enjoy special abilities, such as the ability to edit or delete posts and submit videos that are long without displaying the blue mark on their profile, after rebranding its subscription service from Twitter Blue to X Blue. Some users who wish to test out new services without risking backlash for purchasing a purported status symbol may find the option beneficial.

Musk’s X has also modified its “About X Blue” membership support website, as noted by Techcrunch. In reference to “hide your checkbox,” the business states, “As a Premium user of the service, you may decide to hide your tick on your account. The checkmark will not appear on your posts or profile. Some features and locations may still indicate that you possess an active subscription while others may still display the checkmark. While your checkbox is hidden, certain features might not be accessible. To improve this function for you, we’ll keep developing it.

Members of X Blue must access “profile customisation” in settings and choose the choice of “hide the blue checkmark” in order for the functionality to function. Additionally, users of X, formerly known as Twitter, may “hide subscriptions.”

The cost of the X Blue subscription stays the same except from these adjustments. Premium Membership for iPhones and Android phones in India is Rs 900 per month. It costs Rs 650 per month for web users. The app subscription costs Rs 9,400 and Rs 6,800 per year, respectively.

The X Blue subscribed users can make use of features like edit posts, half advertisements, extended posts, text formatting (bold and italicized text in your posts on the web), bookmark folders, unique app icons, unique navigation, spaces tab, and access to “access to Media Studio.” Posts from Blue members also have a better ranking. According to the page, “Posts that you interact with will get a little rise in rating. Additionally, your responses will get a boost to move them up the list.

At this moment, Musk is heavily promoting the X brand. Authorities raised safety concerns, however, and the firm was compelled to take down the enormous X emblem from the roof of its headquarters. The brightness of the X logo also annoyed some of the neighbours. Because the firm wants to make X a “everything” app, Musk has made it clear that X is more than simply a rebranding. It also plans to provide financial services. When he was working for the online payment’s startup PayPal, Musk acquired the x.com domain. In 2017, he purchased the name using PayPal.
